I like to use Fennec everyday on my N900 and version 10 was not good enough for me. Luckily Mozilla has not ripped out all of the Maemo makefile scripts so it is easy enough to compile the latest...

Install SetCPU, choose lower limits to 250 or 125, upper limits to 750 or 805, scaling conservative.

Yeah turn brightness down and leave it on 2g only, if u keep switching from 2g to 3g or turning your internet off and on it drains the batt each time u change somthing like that, so leave it on 2g...
