disable the watchdog (lifeguard) using Maemo Flasher...you device will boot normally then use filebox to revert back to default transitions...remember to enable the lifeguard again after you have...

but it's better to check it, i'm sending you my transitions.ini (just rename transitions.txt to transitions.ini)
and replace it:
/usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini

you have porbably got them black listed....just check usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini to see if these apps are blacklisted...
this is normal..and for setting portrait picsture first...
