Yes FAM always stucks at updating catalogues. If you are getting low speed on wifi then try switching off power saving mode for your wifi access point.

There's not really a problem, but installing a new tool for something that is already built-in is unnecessary (but OK :)

You could have problems if you enable the "autoremove" option. Maemo is not...

FAM never worked for me. Dont know why. I dont like FAM. HAM is what I like. Most of the time I use apt-get to install a app. I dont know its name then I use HAM.

blitzlee06, why not. Use your 'secondary.bin' with your revision, patch it like in FAQ and flash it to phone with your 'xloader.bin' with same your revision.

Sure, If we count as a problem the fact they don't work with 720p codecs installed. Nothing to be done until gstreamer0.10-dsp harmattan source code becomes available.
