I already had python 2.6 installed on my windows computer. I installed setuptools and used easy_install to pull mechanize.

I am attaching the error output that I am getting.

Just install python 2.7 on your Computer. You don't need to run the above code on the N900.

This is the beauty of Python and platform independent code.

Just install ActivePython on your Windows...

Ah, I see.

Well I tried to fix some problems wih 160by2 but somehow it is not working for me (Looks like I am not allowed to send SMS from within Europe)

We are currently working on a backport...

Click on the menu (top) and there is an option to update it. That will pull in the 160by2 info.
