Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900
I don't find it any funny how this is again going completely off-topic. I'd prefer both of you deleting or moving your posts elsewhere (pro-tip: you can edit and even delete old posts)
While Abe...

Re: View Usage/Logs

Also, please keep in mind that if your N900 is in fact new and unused, then depending on the provenance of it, it might well come with its original battery, which was possibly manufactured anywhere...

Re: View Usage/Logs
Find a script called bq27200.sh (http://wiki.maemo.org/User:Joerg_rw/jrbme/bq27200), designed for battery monitoring. Among other things, it can show you the total charge cycle count since last full...

@Old Abe,
Happy about that :)
I'd recommend having a look at BackupMenu as well as the thread about a recovery console. May help you in case you need to unbrick the N900 :)

Re: Consensus On Overclocking
Well, try kernel-power 49 (from extras-devel), it is rock stable on most of the devices using dsp profile (250-805 with SmartReflex on). And should give you above 50% more battery life compared to...

Re: Consensus On Overclocking
If you don't want to heavy overclock (only up to 805 MHz) and want a good battery-lifetime you schould install Kernel-Power 49 and Karams Battery-Patch. This will enable some good power-saving...

On heavy usage the battery drains fast even at 600 Mhz, i get 3 - 6 hours...
