0.4 beta version was already a nice improvement over 0.3....

Yes and yes, but in the right time.
The UI is also completely and do not base on existent components (in previous version I used qt-components heavily).
It's more designed like game menus... aah...

I decided to not release 0.4.0 version, because of the following reasons:
- I started completely new, fresh project of EmuMaster
- some work is still needed...

I think part of the reason is that Android is designed as a single-task OS. Sure, there's multitasking now, but it wasn't built in from the start, so each app behaves as though it were the only one,...

I agree Waldo. I think that the support issue when it comes to the N9/50 is mostly about legality and contract concerns--Jolla cannot officially support us. But I think that they will do something...
