Hi,the right command it shoud be after dpkg -l|grep ^rc
is
dpkg -l | grep ^rc | cut -d " " -f 3 | xargs dpkg --purge

Just use Skeiron Mirror 3 for every step in the first post; I'm sorry more than the first post I can't think of any other way to be even more verbose...

MOD EDIT 22-04-2013: Since the migration is completed, the temporary repos are not needed. It should be fine using the default repos.

There have been at least 4 threads with people complaining...

Settings-->Voip and IM accounts --> Select your Yahoo account --> Advanced settings --> Under server, remove the scsa.msg.yahoo.com--> Click 'Done'. This should work.
