I meant valid _technical_ points such as: nobody really knows whether 1GB of RAM is too little. It was mentioned that Android's "java" applications can use up to 24MB - so not sure why 1024MB of RAM...

Agree with this... but... at the same time... I wouldn't complain if Sailfish had good optimization, good memory management BUT still launched with 3GB RAM and a quad core CPU. Would you? :D...
