@olf, assuming that mimic is installed correctly and didn't get damaged on download, there most probable cause of problems is OOM killer.

In general, Poor Maps has preference among TTS engines...

It is translatable. But, sorry, I didn't check, it is already translated to German in Transifex, but that has been after the last release. So, the issue will...

Sure, its not a problem of Poor Maps, since Poor Maps just asks for data from data provider. In this case, it will run down to geocoder-nlp - please add the issue there.

Its a bug. I think you are the first user trying to access it, and this is after just a bit of more than a year of development. It has been broken for anyone not using the original libosmscout...

It isn't available in the Xperia X Jolla Store anymore.
