Re: Show off your screenshots
I love seeing screen shots of my themes. I wonder if there is a way I could make the windows theme randomly close programs and give illegal operation errors

Re: Bluetooth headset (HSP) on WiMAX edition?
Ok, in brief:
Try pairing the HSP and doing sound through the headset. It is expected to fail, either on pairing or playback.
Add the audio.service file, and comment the if/fi lines qwerty12...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
This is an interesting debate, but I suspect the outcome is largely dependent on economics. Unlike LTE, WiMax is fulled spec'd. 2009 was supposed to be the year for it to catch up, but it seems the...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
LTE wasn't even an official standard 18 months ago. WiMAX is.
As I said before,
For example, if I had UMTS support on my Nokia N810 past 18 months it would be useful throughout my country, but...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
I think Nokia's goal was less to expand the IT market by adding WWAN capabilities than to establish a better position (in the US, and in WiMAX) by delivering a unique and desirable product at network...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
The world is larger than XOHM, Sprint, Clearwire, USA, or North America. There are tons of WiMAX networks out there, and they do not all compete with HS*PA(+) or LTE.
Calling WiMAX dead because...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
Perhaps the N810WE should have supported multi-band WiMax, like 2.5GHz, 3.5 GHz, and others. Perhaps throw in an unlocked GSM/Edge/UMTS modem in their and call it the new tablet thingger. That...

Re: The Nokia N810 - WiMAX Edition
I loved the idea of WiMAX ... but
until it's deployed in a region I actually spend ANY time in, it's still vaporware, IMO
until there's more than one nationwide carrier that's using it, I...
