Front Camera App ruined my camera?

hey guys

had a weird experience with an app that ive downloaded a few weeks ago for my n9.
the app is called "front camera". Installing it went terribly wrong i think. After it finished i did not have the icon of the app on my homescreen but there was a red icon instead with an exclamation mark on it. Pushing it made my phone crash.
after a reboot i uninstalled that icon.

now my camera does not work right anymore from time to time. It is not able to autofocus and if i force the camera to do so by holding down camera button longer it makes weird noises which make me think that this application somehow broke the camera.

what do you guys think of that? Any ideas how to solve this without reflashing?

greets

This won't work, as he is talking about N9.

Does the Frontcamera app use the (back-)camera at all?
I doubt it can be responsible for any issue with
the (back-)camera.
