Re: SNES on N900

forgive my ignorance, but how much of a problem is to use a zeemote for SNES gaming when it is two bottons short of that on a SNES controller?

thanks

I'll tell you one of these days, mine should be coming soon. And if it is (responsive enough), I guess you'll support it? :D

My guess is it simply acts as a BT keyboard. In that case, it should work automagically =)

AFAIU, it does not. Fortunately, this means it may actually skip all those laggy components.

If I recall correctly there some maemo packages/drivers for the zeemote, so it should use a different protocol.

There's no noticable lag and i can play games just fine with it. Also it is not a keyboard that's why i wrote a driver lib for it. If you prefer a keyboard like driver then you can of course write something like the wiicontrol script (the wiimote also isn't a keyboard). .

I'm also wondering this....anyone know for certain that the N900 can do simultaneous key presses? How many simultaneous key presses can it register?

There has to be a way around that!

A way around what? The N810 seems to be able to handle more keypresses than I can press.awsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss In a way that contradicts my knowledge about matrix circuit keyboards. Hmpf.

One word: diodes.

PS: N900 handles multiple keypresses just fine, too.
