After the today update 51.1 fm transmitter is disabled again. I hope qwerty12 manage to do something for it. Thanks in advance.

You can run "fmtx-faker-tool patch" from an X Terminal. I was testing FMTX Faker on the PR 1.1 beta I was given to test, so I can't reflect on how that will work with the final released version.

hi there guys, ive tried the fmtx faker, works as it should but gives some sideeffects.
it's.probably the same issue as the blank vesion thingy u've been talking about.
what i noticed is that iwas unable to connect the phone to the pc. it was recognised but i was unable to do any sync or any other operation. (all pc sync, nokia and ovi suite didnt work)

I have been using FMTX Faker for a long time now with no problems, so I guess problems rise with a compination of applications (?).

hey giannoug, saying you are using a greek n900 with fmtx faker and perfect pc connectivity?
ive tried installing faker right after a reflash through NSU and still couldnt sync right after,

It's in '-devel!

Make sure to "dpkg --purge fmtx-faker" before installing this version.

The version info/backup ****up should be gone with this version as it does not run upon startup and quits after sending the fake result, so it's saving a bit of memory on that front, too.
It also patches Media Player too.
