Re: Secret Exit to release games for N900
Frand,
I wonder, it seems Zen Bound uses multitouch on the IPhone, I am curious to say how you go around that N900 limitation - Which personally I didn't even feel is missing yet (: |

On the N900, the gesture obviously isn't present, but it doesn't hamper the gameplay since the rotation controls allow for the object to be moved clockwise and counterclockwise by simply grabbing the object from its edge and moving from there. |

I was speaking to a friend last night who codes for a living, and he's currently working on the WinMo 7 SDK to get some games developed for launch (in the hope of making a quick buck). I asked him about programming for maemo in the interim and his response was essentially "no ****ing interest". |

Vectormine for example is a 1Euros shareware game ... this was my first commercial games, and probably the last as trying to put non free applications/games in extras is a pain, as many things aren't working on the packages interface, and elsewhere. |

Re: Secret Exit to release games for N900
Potential business idea:
1. Make a catalogue website that can contain N900 software with a function to take payments. 2. Promote the site and fill the void in this sphere (and there is a void). This wouldn't be hard as there is such a hunger for games and apps on this device and you could promote on this forum for free 3. Charge content developers a reasonable margin 4. Completely rout Nokia from the N900 software market You'd make money and also make a lot of N900 owners happier |
