A new release of HoopsFrenzy is now online, for those who already purchase the game, simply go in Application Manager and update, its that simple ;)

Here's a quick list of changes in v1.0.1:

- Better WM integration.
- Graphics optimization.
- Faster loading.
- Faster rendering.
- General Optimization for the N900.
- Follow the Nokia OVI standard.

Enjoy!

Nice update, thank you for that... would it be possible to change the orientation other way round? Orientation hoopsfrenzy is using is opposite for the one that the UI normally uses.

Orientation is now correct. Thanks
- In the future could it be possible to just create new version? It is much easier than uninstall/install.
- Is it possible to increase the size (or the press area) of the control buttons (exit, task list etc)? At the moment it is little hard to press those with fingers.
- category changed to other from games. Is this intentional?

You are not using the stylus to play? Personally all my high scores was made with the stylus ;)

Try to beat 114 on the first level ;)

Yes the stylus is the normal way to play. UI is designed to be used also with the fingers so in that sense it could be nice to have feature. And it won't effect the game play cause it is not shown when playing. Just a though.

How about the category... you propably didn't catch that cause I edited my last post.

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Yeah about the category, yeah I change it cuz basically if you follow the OVI standard they ask you to put it in user/hidden, which obviously cause it to don't show in the list... But since basically you guys are pulling it from my repo. its more obvious to put the games into user/games.

About the UI issue, for that I have to redo all the graphics, I'll write that down in my TODO list for the next revision.

Cheers,

Use a bootstrap package. The 'real' package would be in user/hidden, this is the same as Ovi would use. Then make a MyAppInstaller package (which has a proper user/games category), which depends on the original package.
