Yeah yeah. It's been on hold since... yesterday! No svn commits today! ;)

Found a buggy bug :)
If playing music with the media player and starting the game (leaving media player minimized in the background), if entering combat screen - the combat never starts: no one gets to start its turn - the game looks like its "waiting" to determine who's going to be the first to make a move, but it just never "decides". The game does not freeze.

Oh yeah, I had that happened to me last week. Thought it was just me. The battle would resume once media player stopped. Anyways, the AI is terrible on this, even on "Impossible" they are easier than the easiest setting on the desktop version. They never try to attack, you can just gallop around right around their castle and take over their resources while they waste half a week before they try to take those resources back. Oh and I found that even though they build up their strongest unit, they rarely use them. Playing the bigger maps, some times I take over castles and find like 30 black dragons or titans just sitting there..

yeah, same error, also same thing as Ikari bout thinking it was just me, also it seems that all of the custom options (the options available in the main menu) are forgotten when i close > re-open the game

i'd also love for something to be done about auto-combat and the option buttons being so freaking close, and so god-damn tiny!!

i was install the demo and file from extras... the game run ok all ok, but how can get more maps? where is the route from copy the maps

This is what it said in the first post and it worked for me.
"Install the program and copy your data and maps files (under DATA and MAPS folders in the original game) to /opt/fheroes2/files/data
and the map files under /opt/fheroes2/files/maps"

Only run with the data/maps from Heroes 2 Original or algo can run with HEROES 2 GOLD EDITION???

Works fine with gold edition. Even with polish language:)
