I downloaded the deb file,,but when i run it, it does not work, it shut down it self.
could someone help me please. I'm so exiting to use it.

Since it triplicates functionality (there are the hw buttons and status bar already) I would say extra volume controls should be very low on priority list. Also, even though that space might be free, there might be other future features that would need it (shuffle+repeat controls?) or even just from an design perspective there is value in an uncluttered interface.

I'm not saying that I'm against it, but I do think that right now devel resources would be better spent elsewhere.

This is a very nice looking and polished application. I downloaded it yesterday and it worked no problem for me, the only issues I saw were:

1) I have over 2500 tracks on my phone currently and when I put on instinctive shuffle it seemed to go through the same ones over and over again - this could just have been due to an initial learning period but it was a little frustrating.

2) When you go to album or the artist selection you have to scroll all the way to it - a better idea here might be to do something like the phone book (when in portrait mode) in that there would be the letters on the right hand side and clicking on jumps straight to the artist/album starting with that letter - while I found the scrolling perfectly smooth in the ovi store version I had to do a lot to get to artists beginning with U for example. Also when you do scroll to an artist and then you want to select another artist the list resets itself all the way back to the beginning.

3) Could a Genre search be a possibility for a future version?

Great application by the way, I was surprised to see that it was free in the Ovi store!

I'd guess you have the same issue I have (see here and here), in which case you either need to uninstall the libav* packages (and their dependants), or wait for a fixed version of Instinctiv to be made available.

For me, it just crashes. :(
Start->Library->Songs->Scroll->Crash
Similar for the other functions.

I'll wait to install this until it gets playlists and landscape mode, but it looks brilliant :)

That said, we're following this thread closely and are keeping a manual tally of how many people request a given feature. Unless they affect very few people, bug fixes tend to get prioritized ahead of new development but the rest of our todo list is heavily request driven :)

About such errors:
/opt/instinctiv/instinctiv: relocation_error: /opt/instinctiv/instinctiv: symbol __aeabi_d2lz, version LIBAVCODEC_52 not defined in file libavcodec.so.52 with link time reference

You have to use this script to start the application: /usr/local/instinctiv/bin/instinctiv.launch
We use specific version of ffmpeg and that's why the instinctiv package install these libraries. That's why the script loads these libraries to the current bash session settings and then starts the executable.
Please use the icon for the player in the menu or use this script to start the application.

Translating the app is on the todo list :) Making the jerky scrolling is a major gripe of mine as well. We're working on it.
