This device feels more like an Archos 605 wifi successor or Archos 43 vision successor rather than and Archos 5 successor.

I was originally going to get a T-Mobile G2, Samsung Vibrant, MyTouch 3g slide, or something like that, but I would have to pay 30 dollars a month for a data plan or pay 600 dollars to get it without a contract. So I'm glad I can get something like this without paying through the nose.

The 770 and the N8x0 was experiments, but the leadership have seen the interest and the numbers since the N900 went phone (it was also the biggest cry on here that nokia should have added a phone to the N810) and so is unlikely to make a non-phone device in the future.
