lol... yea Venemo & scribbles. I'm getting one.

The one at the office did suffer a broken microUSB adapter, but they abused that thing. The other one I used to use got returned.

And why not get one. I am a Maemo fan, actually. Bad part though... they've yet to charge my card and update the order. I'm getting a bit scared.

discontinued means it will not be produced anymore.
nobody said that Nokia won't support it.

By the way, anyone knows the lifecycle of a phone model these days?

I guess why bother unless you only want to have the latest models and pay premium right?

When I bought the N900, the N8 was already announced. But I preferred the capability and uniqueness of the N900 (I think the size is unique too - no one else carrying these brick-sized phones anymore).

Won't stay for too long on the same place so would have to buy it on stores. And buying them on/from my country is not affordable. If I buy over the internet to get it shipped to me I will pay 60% or so of tax and over here the price is way higher something equivalent to 750 euros.

i was worried about this... untill i got one and saw whats been going on here :D

Going to be more than happy with the n900 for years to come, theres already enough infromation, users and devs here to keep me busy reflashing hacking and tweaking this device for a long time.
