I just tried the game out but i don't understand why everyone is raving about how good this game is..

it's pretty boring, i mean you just make it go at full speed and there's not much else to it...

Obviously, you didn't play the bonus track which is impossible to be completed at full speed. No wonder you think it's boring.

what's the bonus track? did you purchase the full game? all i see is 2 levels..

"Play->Career" will eventually give you three tracks. Make sure you play them all in both "track" and "race" modes to get the stars then you should see a bonus track unlocked in "Play->Bonus Track."
