Hold the power key pressed for approx. 5-10 seconds, nemo shuts down.

@TransTech,

Have you imported contacts into Nemo? if yes how?
I also want to use Nemo as primary OS longer time, but couldn't manage to import my phone contacts, which are approx 1200, thus virtually impossible to record one by one.

Sorry if i'm askng too much of a noob question but can anyone please direct me as to how can i test nemo on my N9 ?

I'm no expert, but as far as I know, you have it already :)
Nemo is N900 version of your original OS.

Here's one method:

It requires you to repartition your emmc, and the links included are to images that are 4 months old, so a bit more work is required to get the latest images running.
