Take your time, extraplugins is very usable the way it is right now. Having in it ovi store just make it easier for those who doesn't browse or know about tmo to find it. You can always release it here or apps4meego if you need testers.

Most (all?) of the issues I'm aware of there are in the tracker & in most cases assigned.

Actually the error that Ovi Store reported to you wasn't a lie:

"Can't install. Installation package not found."

That's exactly the error I got when I tried to upgrade on both the N950 and my wife's N9.
