AFAIK Konttori is working on lowlevel driver stuff for WP now? Or do I remember totally wrong? :O

IIRC Konttori has not joined MP/Meltemi because he would have had to move to another city.

Quota from the article

symbian was still profitable for Nokia. one stupid announcement by Mr. Elop ruined everything.

They probably want to put out more WP devices so they can reach the sales of the N9 and announce it proudly on Q3 "Lumia surpassed meego next step bada" :D

I haven't looked through it myself, but according to a Canalys report, Nokia shipped 600k n9 phones last quarter.

Report: 600,000 Nokia N9 Devices Shipped in Q4 2011

If that was true then other numbers would match, they don't

I don't know what the conditions of the Nokia factory in China are. But, if it is anything like others there I don't want anything to do with it.

Oh yes, torture yourself for somebody else's stupidity. Nokia wouldn't care about your boycott. They'd laugh at it at best.

I refuse to believe that, and in keeping true to my state of denial, I noticed another tidbit in a Slashgear article about running ICS on a Nokia N9:
