No AR seems like easy mode, sadly the faster locking gps with the 'no gps' bug makes it more likely to get the app to lock up. Another missing feature: battery saver seems to rely on gyro, while buggy on j1 never works on jc, still, happy to have gotten rid of Goog services

Erm, yesterday I have read an article on privacy policy of Pokemon Go. Heise German only, sorry.

Main spin is:
1. You allow the company to use all data collected, otherwise the software won't work. After all this might be one of the main purposes of this app.
2. If the company want to delete your stuff (you might have paid for) they can do so on their own reasoning.
3. If they think you did something immoral or illegal, they will give your data to anyone (not just law enforcement).

I wonder, why would anyone using a Jolla for the purpose of what I think makes Jolla different (like being more in control of your phone and data) install this peace of ... on his precious.

Alien Dalvik might have its purpose, but IMHO using it for Pokemon Go and alike is abusing the phone. Actually I have harsher words for it, but won't use them here.

On JollaC main pro of MicroG is that the game works, smaller ones are related to privacy, only nintendo is gathering your location info for the next pearl harbour (well also mozilla if you're using their backend I guess, at least you get a choice of backends), microg is supposedly smaller, faster and most importantly open
