I've seen the N900 a couple of times on people and sold the phone to about 5-6 people. Maybe it has an effect that I live in Finland? :)
Quite surprisingly, I've sold the device to people in the age category 20-29 and 40-50, at least two and two in those categories, not sure what I did with the sixth. Sold it to someone though. EDIT: D'oh I sold it to myself. :D I'm 23. |

haven't seen anyone till now, but I have one for me and the other for my elder brother. right m in US, but wil soon be going back to India.
( I bought from some indian dealer on ebay ). both phones came up for around $1050. |

I saw my first fellow n900er last night on the train home - at least it was my train home. We were busily comparing notes on what we'd downloaded etc when I commented that I'd not seen him on that train before - turned out it was because he'd caught the wrong train. Ooops. At least that still makes me the only n900er in t'village :-D

Have not seen a single other n900 here in SE Florida, and I work in the tech field. Almost all my friends and coworkers I've shown it to have been really impressed (except for a couple iPhone die hards) but they all have smartphones already.
Nokia has also done a very poor job of getting the word out, when I was shopping for a service provider, none of the phone sales people had heard of it. |

Not seen any out and about, my local Vodafone shop doesn't have one out on display or any posters up. Don't really go into any other phone shops to have a look, nice to know that the handset isn't as popular as the iPhone I suppose!!

Just saw first one yesterday evening. As I was coming back from office and was in my apartment lift. Another guy came inside and took out his shiny N900.
I smiled and thought, another N900 and that too in same apartment :-) May be I will visit him someday to share each other mod and hack. Location: Geneva, Swiss. |

Only last week I have spotted the first N900 other than mine in the hands of a woman obviously busy playing a game in portret mode while hold of a toddler reaching out for it with sticky pawns.
The husband was sitting in front of them with a white Nokia E71 laying on the table. Then I looked at my wife sitting next to me playing Mahjong on my N900 and because of the funny resemblance only people on this forum may observe I felt less bored having to surf on her white E71. I have already seen two N900's in Bangalore,India..in a cricket match.. Very surprising..
The other day i went to a mobile shop to try for a screen protector and the shop guy told that another N900 owner had already visited.. Any users from Bangalore.. ping me at bipinbn@gmail.com.. we can have a small n900 meetup :) |

Kuopio - Finland, haven't seen any other users, but it gives me plenty of room to brag about being on the edge and having a superawesome internet tablet. I also heard that my uncle has one, he's a salesman and uses it when he's working. I've heard that many people especially when doing a job that requires travelling uses n900 as a work "phone". I wonder why.

Haven't seen any N900 where I hang out in London but I work in the shallow music/media industry so as you can imagine everyone either has an Iphone or one of the many Blackberrys on the market.
Whenever I meet people who have snartphones that aren't one of the two brands I mentioned above they are always geeky/tech savvy people like myself. It seems there aren't many of us around. I've seen a few Htc Android/winmo phones dotted about, I myself have I900 Omnia which is a winmo phone. Will be getting my N900 in a couple of weeks - can't wait!!!! |

I watched a report on German TV ("Stern TV" on RTL) last night showing the former German spokesman of wikileaks.org Daniel Domscheit-Berg, a.k.a. Daniel Schmitt was using a N900. Just in case someone is interested in this ;-)

I know that to of my friends has n900 and also my friend girlfrien has n900. Also my cousin has it and one of my friends friend has it :). so that 5 :eek:

I know of only one other guy who has one.
But anyway, he is the uncontested top-wizard of our local Linux User Group, so this might not come as a surprise. I seem to be the second one in our Linux User Group to buy a N900. When I brought it to our regular meeting the first time, I was the center of attention of the evening :cool: As also other friends (all of them highly techie-geeky) were very interested when I showed them my beloved N900, it might be that in the next time, I will know a lot more people who own one :) |

Meh, haven't seen one. Only two showed interest in mine, one thought it was an N97 and the other was working in a Nokia store.
Then again, I've only ever seen like two-three Iphones so I guess I'm not into the whole interacting with people because of an object they carry game. |
