I have this too... And I have another problem..
I don't know why, but always when I use different font from the qtlockscreen themes I get lugging in the qtlockscreen... If I use system font, all is ok... Someone know why ?

I never had these problems, but I never used fonts different from the system one. Maybe complex fonts are slow?

I would overwork the translation files and then recompile qtlockscreen.
Best is to wait for the update. with that recompiling the source isn't needed cos sakya said next update will store the ressource files locally on the device.

hope it'll arrive soon.

Houston we have a problem here. ;)

Serious, does the author probably know why this programm (btw. enhanced lockscreen does this too) won't even start, when bash is used as default shell?

When switching back to /bin/sh qtlockscreen is starting fine. Using /bin/bash as default no qtlockscreen, only default lockscreen is displayed.

Not sure if it is the media player widget or mediabox but whenever you are playing songs using mediabox and press the back button, it skip to the next song, every other buttons works fine tho

@Sakya, a very f*cked up bug caused me to uninstall Qtlockscreen, would you mind checking it out?

Apparently, Qtlockscreen conflicts with alarms, i.e. it is 6:29 A.M, alarm set to 6:30, phone is locked, once the clock hits 6:30, the alarm goes out, but after a few seconds Qtlockscreen appears followed immediately by the hildon lockscreen and the alarm turns off. So this renders the alarm unusable as it shouts for a few seconds only, not enough to wake me up...

Maybe it is because i only use portrait but sometimes the lock screen get stuck when unlocking. You then can only see half of the lock screen. I think it then has problems going back to landscape. When this problem occurs i can't unlock and need to reboot the phone

This is good.. now the DAY of the week .. is picking up based on Language or Region? How do I configure it to use the language. I believe its looking at my region "Malaysia" which uses the Malay language. But i would prefer it in English.

Would be great if can add an option to choose language preference for the day rather than region. if thats possible :)

Hey btw, i installed
lastest Speed Patch
(http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=73315)
and lastest Swappolube
(apt-get install swappolube)
and in Swappolube, i use Proposed settings and now QtLockScreen responses immediately when press powerkey, no more that 2sec waiting.
Also Landscape/Portrait swaps like it should.

Anybody else coming across the problem where the phone seems to freeze when using FM car radio for a phone call? I have never had this problem before using this app.

The only other apps/upgrades I have done lately are the speed patch and the portrait mode and I can't see it those two.

I've been on vacation for two weeks, I'll develop the slide to unlock soon. ;)

@Jarno420: I have swappolube with proposed settings but the "2 secs" problem is not resolved, probably it's the speed patch. I'll try it.

@Sakya: You should try hardware acceleration too if you dont have it on already. Makes menus etc lil bit smooter.

The phone will be unlocked when the slider reach the UnlockX or UnlockY position.
UnlockX and UnlockY are relative to the SlideToUnlock widget (the slider is "inside" the widget).
You can set a background image (I didn't use it in the default config).

The SlideToUnlockText is a TextWidget.

As always have a look at the default config file copied to /home/user/.config/sakya

The update won't change your configuration, so you'll see the "old" unlockButton.
To use the slide to unlock update your configuration file.
To use the default configuration just delete the file /home/user/.config/sakya/QtLockscreen.ini and

but after updating I noticed that it cant load images like: background,unlock button .. etc , so I downgrade it to 0.1.4

is the problem from me or what ?? :confused:

If your config file point to images with path ":/something" you need to change it to "/opt/qtlockscreen/default/something"

As mentioned in the changelog embedded resources have been removed.

You can also just remove your configuration file, kill qtlockscreen and use the default configuration (it should work). ;)

but the default configuration work ok

I had a problem.

I erase /home/user/.config/sakya/QtLockscreen.ini and

and tipe the

killall qtlockscreen

as root

and did the upgrade.

after this, my lockscreen didnīt show button or the slide to unlock the screen...

Any help to sove it?

That's because you killed the lockscreen before the upgrade, so you now have the default configuration of he old version.

Try to delete again the config file and kill the lockscreen.

and I found a bugs maybe
when I set the orientation to Portrait forever, the background become "separated with landscape background"

but when I set the orientation to auto, the portrait is fine.

Uploaded now version 0.1.6

Changelog:
* Fixed background problem when Orientation is set to "portrait"
* Added to SlideToUnlock settings UnlockXL, UnlockXP, UnlockYL, UnlockYP

Due to the UnlockXL, UnlockXP... new settings update your config file
You can keep your config, just replace the old UnlockX with UnlockXL and UnlockXP, UnlockY with UnlockYL and UnlockXP.

Now it should be possible to make the slider to use the screen width like this (I didn't test it; if someone test it please report if it is working):

@ sakya , found a strange thing , change the unlock button and now slide isn't working , it's like i just tap on the unlock button and screen gets unlock :$
