Got my brand new replacement N900 yesterday. Still have a lot to do. Here is a very basic start so far.

I know it's probably been asked a billion times before but there's very almost 400 pages and I don't know what to put without being uber broad so here it goes;


where is that ubuntu icon from, the one for menu/windows, I thought it'd be a part of humanity theme but it isn't D:

and how do people get the plain text beecon icons? I've never done anything with beecon.

Any help is greatly appreciated :D

if you want to get plain text without any icons then look a the screenshot below....

i have marks the place where you can hide the icon....change from center to hidden then save....

if you want to show the plain text then look at the screenshot below...

Can someone using the Android-esque launcher on the bottom of the screen in portrait please post the photo? I should apparently be getting my 2nd N900 back today and i thought i'd take the opportunity to install CSSU on it

'Android-esque' means Android like. He's talking about the posts above with the Android launcher.

to remove status bar u should use Theme Customizer.

There is option to make opacasity of it.

And why u cant download it and cut form these image these dock?

because it will reduce the quality of the dockbar when shown , plus you have to make four invisible qbw to place on the icons in dockbar .

Thanks guys, yes it's the dock at the bottom i was after. As it turns out my insurance company is giving me the SGS2 not my repaired N900, but seeing as the N900 will now be semi-retiredand primarily an entertainment device i'll probably still install CSSU

Of course, you can do anything you want. It's just that QBW is easier to change the image and size, whereas icons you have to change the size of all of them not just one or two like in QBW

I mean, instead of making a hidden QBW e can use the log1.png as the image of the QBW that will launch the phone, right ?

exactly :)
now you are getting into qbw :p

just place the .png in /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir
and write the exact name of the .png in under command title settings
and tadaaaa you will have your image but to make it work you need to add command

here is another, i've got the other weather widget as well by harrick, but i'm getting to the stage how many weather widgets do i need lol thing is i like them all
