Already downloaded the leaked P.R1.3 firmware to flash the n950.

BTW, as a begginer to MeeGo / Harmattan I (and probably others) would like to ask:
*Is inception sufficent for development on the n950 or should I use open mode kernel? (my guess after a bit of reading is that it will suffice)

*What is the Extras-devel equivalent repository for harmattan (where all the ...-dev packages are)?

*Is it risky to flash the n950 with the leaked P.R1.3 firmware? (slowdowns or firmware down-grading problems)

you only need system privileges that inception or open mode provide when you develop something that replaces system packages; ordinary apps etc don't require them. Even if needed, inception should be sufficient in most cases and do remember if you make something that is open mode only you will be reaching a smaller user base as most ordinary users use inception... Open mode is also used by those who dual boot Nitdroid on their device...

harmattan SDK repo is what you are looking for

pr1.3 for n950 i think means you cant downgrade; just like the n9 you cant downgrade to a lower/older pr version... From what i have heard from members of the #n950 club, the leaked firmware is better than pr1.2...

It's nice surprise, that they're sending 64GB ones now. It seems, that mess in Nokia can sometimes be very convenient :p

Indeed :) It's a great surprise that 64GB N9's are being sent out, I just hope that they all will be the same and not a mixture of sizes.. I'm sure anyone who receives a 16GB one now would be a little disappointed..

I don't want to burst your bubble, but I don't think there's any chance of a 64GB N950 coming your way. I think the earliest N950 prototypes had 64GB but that was some time ago.. (if I remember right). As always with developer devices - expect the lowest configuration and be delighted if there's a bonus :)

Hang in there taixzo, there does't seem to be any ordering so far. Your turn will come :)

Any news from Halftux? I believe he's leaving tomorrow on his trip, I guess it'll arrive a little too late now :(

Sorry Martin, that's a typo - we're actually sending you a lion! Your cage will be with you shortly.

got a tracking number for the n9 :)

Cool - yours has the longest journey, can you see from the tracking if it's going through Nokia Canada again?

No news and no email so far.:(
Yeah leaving tomorrow early in the morning.
However I think I would not have so much time on this trip because it is a business trip and I will work 12 to 14 hours each day.

For waiting so long I will be all on edge. I can't wait to going home again and I am still at home.:)
So when I come back I will have some time to play with my new baby and at home it is more save than on a trip.

Hopefully it will surely arrive.

It's arrived! =)

No DHL tracking codes beforehand, just package and the N950 inside today! Well, this makes sense, since devices are sent from Finland to Finland as regular post packages.

Thanks again for voters, organizers and of course to Nokia'ns too!

Am I happy now? Yes, definitely! :D

Just received a black 64GB N9 made in Finland. :)

BTW, DHL is FAST. According to tracking, it took them slightly less than 24 hours to get there (Czech Republic). :)
