I called them too, they said the same thing, I'll be going to NYC nokia store on friday to get one and yes EVEN AFTER ALL THE **** BEING POSTED HERE! im so impatient but not high expectations from n900.

I ordered from Nokia online store yesterday and I got a shipping confirmation and tracking number today. It will be delivery on Friday. Oh Yeah.

Update on my order.

Amazon.com shipped it on the 25th and it is estimated to arrive December 1st.

I was also able to get a $59 refund so my order comes to $529.99. I received it by emailing them. See previous post for more details (page 411). It lists the refund underneath this table.

Edit: I am wondering if those who ordered earlier than me, but did not receive their shipping confirmation were knocked out of line because they did the price adjustment before the shipping soon status in spite of the representative assuring them that they will keep their spot in line.

I had the price change done on mine and I ordered before you and nothing. So I canceled and went with Dell, I got 20% cashback plus 10% bonus from my card so i got the phone for 390 after everything said and done. 340 after the rebate :)

Nice! Was that the Bing cashback and a DPA (dell preferred account)? And what about taxes and shipping? I sold my N97 to fund my N900 purchase. I'm just glad I got to lower the price so I don't have to spend too much more to pay the difference.

My expansys delivery has been updated today from 3 days to 17days !!!!!
That is bad news !!! I pre-ordered over two months ago.

Most stores are closed after 12 PM, so I wouldn't be surprised if Newegg, Amazon, Dell, etc.. were also closed. As in nobody is processing orders or packaging items. If they aren't closed they are running on a skeleton staff.

Just received a shipping confirmation from Amazon with a delivery date of 12/4/09. I pre-ordered the phone on 9/20/09. Unfortunately, the order doesn't reflect the current reduced cost. Hopefully, I'll be refunded the price difference at some point.

I amped to receive this phone and to get started on the Maemo experience.

Man I just order this phone on amazon on Monday this week, And I still have not heard anything back from them yet. Is the 4th December the shipping date for all Amazon N900 or just some? Can you help me confirm this or ask amazon for me?:mad:

People who ordered in late September are receiving their devices, I think Amazon is shipping orders in the order they came in. So an 11/23 order is going to wait. I ordered on 10/01 and show 12/25 after (which i think is more of a placeholder).

I got it on order from Amazon and Dell, whoever ships first gets my money. I got one from the NY flagstore which I had to give as a gift to my effin kid brother.

The December 25th date is more of a placeholder. Nearly everybody had that ate as the initial estimate. That is more for Amazon to cover in case there was no release from Nokia.

The December 4th delivery date is specific to my order. I think the earlier response is accurate, as to Amazon filling orders on a first come first serve basis.

I think the idea is to cancel the order that doesn't ship first. Thus no restocking fee.
