When you upgrade the CSSU it replaces your transitions.ini file with the latest version from the CSSU team, which has all the options set to 0 by default.

Though there is a bug logged to preserve your changes, while still introducing (any) new options.

The old transitions are backed up in /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini.old
Code:

mv /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini.old /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini
to restore them.

But if the user fails to do this, and there is another CSSU update, the .old will itself be overwritten, and their still stuck, right ?

Updating the Features wiki page :-)

Users using theme customizer:
Theme Customizer comes with it's own hildon-home (has always) and it does not support 9 desktops. I already asked if the resizing the shortcuts could be implemented into CSSU so I could dump the hildon-home that comes with Theme Customizer.

For developers of CSSU:
Resizing patch is originally made by cepiperez and I think Matan's latest hildon-home includes it aswell so you might wanna grab it from there or get the source of Theme Customizer to see the source of modded hildon-home.

Could you raise a bug pointing at the necessary sources?

Thanks in advance,

Guys. i know i might look noobish here, but how do i get the latest 12.1? or how do i check if got 12.1 already? The about page in settings shows me maemo12... which is weird, cause HAM doesn't have any updates either. Can smb help me here?

@ iscio, no, it's not possible to set it to only parts of the OS.

The next upgrade will include a configurable zoom effect when the screen's pressed as in the Cordia demo video and the parallax between home screen widgets and the background can be configured (or removed).

@ Alfred HAM -> Update -> tap title bar -> Refresh
