This is what im meaning, it didnt do this automatically to me (as also for few others as i saw in earlier messages). So my question is, can I do this manually as I have now uninstalled the old version and installed 5.7, I have backup of the old files and I have tried different things, like renaming whatsapp.db to database.db and moving it to .local\share\harbour-mitakuuluu2\harbour-mitakuuluu2 , this trick got my chats back so that I can see a message times but theres no text?

no you can't do it manually. its not compatible.

after select private message or group message sound, after select, it still show no sound
