I cancelled my Amazon order yesterday and placed my order with NokiaUSA once they went to $569. So far I've been very lucky, ordered once, went through, and I just called and it has been released for shipment by FedEx. Now, I'm not out of the woods yet though, I never receive a shipment from FedEx on time because regardless of what I schedule with them, they ALWAYS come when no one is home with signature required stuff.....crossing my fingers this time is different!

can't take it any more also, cancelled my buy.com order and ordered from nokiausa.

Haha agreed. I beta-tested Windows 7, and I'm getting it to replace Windows Vista on my laptop. But I like Ubuntu 9.10 more.

I think this thread should go on, at least till Amazon and other remove Preorder links. I am sure a lot of us haven't got the device yet and its comforting to know the status of the queue.

Amazon had only about 145 Devices and they had over 2000 orders lol.. what a deepshiit they are. Pure management and poor organising their act.

i need some help, i canceled my amazon pre-orden on monday and place my orden in nokia usa(Nov. 30 10pm aprox), now the order status remains "in progress" , how much time does it takes to change the status? :confused:

Eikido, Zico, I really hope you guys in Sweden get it soon, i feel guilty cause i'm no longer in this thread. Although i make a point of coming in now and then, the best bit of advice i can give is that as soon as you are using it, all the badness and frustration leaves you like an exorcism lol.

it's taken so long to get here, I'm going to wait for the n910 or n1000, the newest bigger screen version with 3G + LTE

Yeah :), i miss the days where i woke and the first thing i did was check this thread... lovely times, lovely people.

I know :D!! Can you believe it? They only thing that i regret is that i didn't apply for express delivery, so i might get mine at the end of next week.. no good.. i have already bought a BH-905 for the phone, dude they are awesome!!

This thread is almost dead... Well, not for me...
Stupid expansys and stupid nokia.

My N900 should ship today but nooooooo...
They changed availability to 5.1.2010.

I wrote a letter to expansys and they replied stating that its Nokias fault because they announced first availability for november but forgot to mention that those deliveries were meant only for vodaphone.

Now they said that they can put my money that was already paid on my account with them or return it to me (which can take 1 month).

I'm going to kick somebody in the nuts :mad:

I pre-ordered mine on September 18 to eXpansys France, and I'm still waiting for it. eXpansys currently says that I have to wait until January 5 (at least). Is this normal?

I ordered the N900 on contract on Vodafone through Nokia's Mobiles phones direct website, almost 2 months ago, i've been given 3 different delivery dates and i still have not recieved the phone! Mobile phones Direct have turned off their phone lines because they are too busy to answer all the calls regarding the N900, and are not answering my emails, I don't really want to cancel my order but even if i did i couldn't get hold of them to do so!!! The only reason I ordered the n900 was because the original delivery date was a week before my previous contract ended. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem, or if any has any advise!!

Just received one of two orders with PriceUSA both placed with Amazon on November 12.

Apparently my second order was shipped via Los Angeles on the 18th and the first via San Francisco on the 20th? LOL

USPS Tracking is almost useless.
Until this morning my second order was listed as:

and just now updated to:

Australia Post is even worse. There's no results for both orders...

EDIT: Oh, and unfortunately the one that arrived today is for my workmate... so i'm still waiting for mine :mad:

On the one that was delivered I tested everything I could think of, and it's all working :)

Hey everyone
I live in India and one of my friend is currently in New York. I wanted to purchase a N900 and that too real fast as my friend will return to India in a day or two.
I just wanted to know whether my friend can purchase the phone instantly from the NY flagship store or they would take some time. In other words will my friend be able to just walk in the flagship store and come out with a N900 in his hand? If not then what is the probable waiting period at flagship stores.
