Why cant nokia communicate with us?! If they just told someone to log onto the forum and tell us "you will get an update eventually" i would feel better! This is crazy, im going to the flagship tomorrow to replace my n900 (will hopefully be able to call people without using speakerphone yaay!) i will have a nice little rant to them about the whole thing. Of course no one will pay attention/care :(

Thinking about it, n900 would be nothing without this forum :/

No-one in this thread knows - or in this thread cares! - about GPS. Use the search function to locate a thread about GPS and ask there. Spamming something irrrelevent here isn't going to get you what you want.

Honestly - go ask in the right place. People here like helping if you help yourself.

Has anyone seen the update in the UK yet? Seems a tad late even for our normal delayed deployments!

i am thinking maybe they afre holding back further rollout due to people having problems with rebooting? long shot but a better idea some of the others posted!! still pretty annoyed we have not had hyet without any official response?

Kathy says it's Gordon Brown's fault today, so we can expect a period of silence and dithering, followed by the grudging release of a firmware that does less than it used to while signing you up to premium rate text messages from the Treasury.

But I've already exhausted my bad temper allocation for today, so I'll just answer. No. We were just working out why it's Gordon Brown's fault today.

Okay...

I blame Gordon Brown because he's not a very good Prime Minister, he sold our gold off too cheaply, he didn't put an end to boom and bust, he looks creepy when he smiles and everyone is sick of him.

I think Nokia won't trust us with the update as long as Gordon's PM.

I think that if our Prime Minister was an old Etonian then we'd definitely get firmware upgrades before everyone else.
