PS: if viewing Google Latitude in MicroB, how can I pan the map? Dragging does not seem to work and there are no panning controls.
Swipe in from the LHS of the browser app and you get a little pointer icon, tap on it and you get a mouse pointer.

I can see you're doing great job bringing google latitude to maemo 5, thanks for that!

I've been wondering - is there any road map for this application? Specifically I'm interested in Status Menu widget that, once configured, would constantly update google latitude every (with some interval, i.e. every half an hour). Is this something you're planning to include in your application or you consider such functionality outside of the scope of your applications?

In one of the Google Latitude threads I said something about this and gave a pointer to some half finished code I've written (bit busy for the next few days, but hope to get back to it soon).

So the answer is yes, I'm planning an update daemon which will be user-configurable though e.g. a control panel applet and perform updates at user-specified intervals.

Thanks, it works great. I also noticed that if I'm using maps.google.com/maps/m?mode=latitude
in MicroB with the maemo-location extension is installed and allowed, it automatically updates my location into Google Latitude.

Np. Yep, that was the beauty of finding that page, though when I was looking (at the various Latitude apps and pages) and realised that the iPhone uses a plain webpage, I didn't hold out much hope that it would actually work! :)

Thank you.
Which interval is used?
Does it work with cell and GPS-based location?

First, thanks for great app!

A few problems, however:
i cannot zoom with volume key and there is no other handy method
there is no cache so every time i run it it costs me a few bucks (that's it, not cents, as i pay $.30 per megabyte) ;-)
