Re: SURVEY: Who's Developing for Maemo5/N900, What, and How - Check-In here
Language/s: C++, Qt
IDE: N900, Qmake, Make Project: Qt-maemo-example, modified Progress: (needing /usr/bin/moc to run make without errors) Struggling with Unicode support in Qt License: GPL (right?) Distribution: Maemo Purpose/goal of project: Learn Qt on N900 MADDE on Windows XP was used to get /usr/include/qt4, because I couldn't figure out what package gives this folder (needed for running make) However, /usr/bin/moc from MADDE is a Windows executable, not suitable for Maemo. So, how do I get it? libqt4-dev conflicts badly with qmake (install qmake - qmake works - install libqt4-dev - qmake gives syntax error "(" unexpected - uninstall libqt4-dev and install qmake - qmake works) Now I compile in MADDE, test on N900, in circle. The problem is: for some Unicode characters Qt ignores FontPointSize (in QTextEdit). Just ignores! What can I do about it? Should I install some font? |
