3 so far, and the only commonality at the moment is the 356938030154
mine ends 52. We really need some more serial number though tbh

p.s i spoke to nokia tech guy today and he said i was the first person to call with a problem with the n900 lucky me anyway he is going to call me back tomorow he had a n900 in front of him and it to was mic not working anyway thanks again.
nuknuk, is there a dedicated support phone line for the N900 similar to one for N97?

There should be no direct correlation between fully charging a battery to boot into an OS and the success/failure of that for which a microphone works.

People should be whinging to Nokia considerable amounts / threaten to tell popular news blogs sites, et cetera et cetera. Make them do their damn jobs.

What type of mic is it? If it's a mic that needs a DC current, maybe someone loaded the parts placement machine backwards and some of them got placed with the wrong polarity?
