Re: [Maemo 5] MSN, pecan, butterfly, haze....

I have a problem were I have double fields of MSN contacts now and I cannot remove them because otherwise they get removed from the server also. That kinda sucks.
What also doesn't seem to work is adding new MSN contacts directly on the N900 (Haze in my case) for it will simply not sync back to my MSN account.

When you want to remove double contacts, go offline in msn and remove then... It shouldnt remove contacts from server.

first, im having problems when im sent a message while offline. when i try to go back online, it's able to connect for a second and the i get the "unable to conncect to one or more accounts" message. then it tries to connect again and the same thing keeps happening. i have to log in on my pc to receive the message sent while i was offline and then pecan can connect normally.

I'm experiencing a similar problem with 0.1.0-0maemo2. cpu load for telepathy-pecan will remain relatively high until i disable the telepathy-msn-pecan account, logon using pidgen, receive a bunch of pending offline messages, then switch back.

Anyone else seeing this?

Why is there no Haze to download anymore? I can't find it.

It is in "Pidgin protocol plugins ..."
However, since PR 1.2, Butterfly works best for me.

Hi I am havin strange behaviour with msn pecan. I can log in fine but it does not seem to be telling me in my address book who is online and who is offline which renders it practicallu unusable. Has anyone had this issue and/or know how to fix it?

I face some issues with msn pecan:

When i set my status to invisible, i can see online people and can receive messages, but it seems, messages i'm sending while I'm invisible never reach my contact, although i see it as sent...

Anyone can reproduce this? any fix?
