Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Thanks for the new version, very nicely integrated now. I hope you find to do the same for soccerFrenzy, too :-)
One thing to think about: shall the top menu bar (switcher/volume/about/close) be visible only when in menu mode or always? I'm not sure if the current way (only visible when in menu) is the best one.

Yes we are going to do the same with soccerfrenzy... way a few days...

What is your suggestion about the menu?

A bit of a contradiction there. Don't get me wrong, it's your code and you absolutely have final word on what it can be used for, but perhaps the EULA could be a little bit clearer :-)

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Just bought the soccer game. Not really my cup of tea but figure I should support N900 developers! Where do we report bugs? This is one advantage of uploading to extras - it's easier to find bug trackers etc.

Problems:
- the game takes ages to start up (over two minutes). Is this normal?
- if I minimise (ctrl-backspace) it says "HoopsFrenzy" instead of "SoccerFrenzy"
- if I minimise I cannot restore the game. I have to reboot my phone.

Uninstall and reinstall - had the same issues and an uninstall/reboot/reinstall seemed to sort them out. Not sure why

Thanks for the idea. I tried uninstall/reboot/reinstall but I still have the same problems. Not good. This is the first application that has forced me to reboot my N900 (and multiple times!)

Bratag: Yeah I want to put them on extra-devel non-free but Im having some issues with the instructions there:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Uploading_to_E...ee.22_packages

I do exactly like that page said but Im always getting the same error:

Permission denied (publickey).

The most weird part is that It work once... and I upload my .changes & .deb, then when its time to change the permissions on the 2 files, it fail reporting that the files doesn't exists... after that it never work again...

Im not sure that Im doing wrong...

Basically when they say:

Quote:

Copy the contents of ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub in the "Public SSH keys" section of your garage account maintenance page. This will be available once your upload-invitation request has been accepted
What I do is:

cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

And copy the whole output from the console to my garage account in the Public SSH keys...

Doesn't work...

And when I try to test why and do: ssh sio2interactive@drop.maemo.org -v

I always get that... except once... like I said that It works...

Cheers,

Make sure you have everything from the id_rsa.pub there and no line breaks. Also, it apparently takes a while before it gets updated after upload.

What you see is bug 3354.

It's been there for ages and e.g. prevents lots of people from using scp, but they don't seem to be able to fix it.
