So common every body can we not pull together like a comunity should and stop shunning people for asking for help.

I can tell from your words you are frustrated and I know what you're saying, I feared right away when i saw the thread title as i knew what was coming his way. Basically people couldn't wait to get stuck into him, it was a rush to see who could take the p*ss out of him first be it in a post or a tag. It's just nastiness, and I can't understand how these posts are not removed or posters warned. I'd also suggest removing the false email addresses.

Many thanks for the folks who did try to help, and patiently stuck with him. There are still a lot of good folks on here, it's the pool of piranhas you got to navigate through.

IF anyone wants to read through the posts on this thread they will get the simple understanding that all i wanted to find out was a direct email address for Nokia but alas evryone seem to just jump in critisize call me whatever but never did anyone offer or even try to understand that i wanted the EMAIL ADDRESS not a form or a link to a form nor an address to write too.
As you all have had a great time throwing abuse i will end this by saying this...... WHAT PART OF EMAIL ADDRESS DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ?????

If you have non standard complaints (if your phone isn't broken) about the N900, you could try Ari Jaaksi's blog

There are a great many people who help here frequently, including most in this thread. But what you're seeing here is exasperation brought on by the original poster's-- ah-- unique approach to seeking help.

Anyone wanting help has the onus of a) asking respectfully and b) considering what's said in response instead of stubbornly arguing against it.

You all argued with me and got very defensive of Nokia in some parts when all i wanted to know was a simple thing so i can only say how shocked i am as to the kind of people alive on this forum willing to be plain nasty because they in there own right are probably as pissed as i am with Nokia.
I was respectful but there is a definite cliche of people on here that gang together, very interesting indeed to read the comments thrown and i can say for sure i have learned a LOT after this thread.

No one is defending Nokia. There is nothing to defend.

And no one has been nasty or abusive toward you, abill_uk.

You won't answer the age question, so I have another one: is your ultimate goal an email address, or some action on Nokia's part?

There is no truth whatsoever in that. People kidded with the original poster. That's it. In fact some of his aggressive posts are the worst ones in the thread, and his initial borderline rude post set the tone.

There is email but that comes after you have filled the form. What helps to get answer is of course common sense:
- Be specific
- Do not write much
- Be polite

So basically this thread should have gone like this

1. I want want want email address.
2. Please use form to give your feedback/complains
3. Lock thread and everybody is happy?

I also have tried to explain why email without any pre filtering is really really bad way of giving feedback.

u've asked the wrong question, u should have requested email addresses of the project leader of N900, or the software developer of N900, or any Nokia employees that involved in N900 development for that matter.

It looks like he isn't happy with how nokia handled the N900 and wants to discuss it with them, something that customer service can't do :P

I told him to try Ari Jaaksi's blog, I think he was part of the dev team and even owns an N900 himself.

Itīs his personal blog. If I were him and someone asked support on my blogs comments i would say that please use official support form. But then again if it really helps to give your feedback randomly to someones personal blog then do it. Imho stupid thing to do.

Thanks Kojacker and sorry to be late to thank you as i had a lot to read here, yes it was for sure a torrent of abuse and by very much a cliche that exsist on here in Nokia's cause.
I have learned a lot of this thread and will for sure post some thoughfully written comments on this so called friendly forum elsewhere so basically the abusers have not really done much good for themselves.
I am suprised of Texrat whom i honestly thought was a sincere guy as a moderator but he just joined in with the rest... ok all noted here and you are the only one in defence of what WAS a very simple question i thank you !.

yes but it didnt did it this is what im trying to say. it took 10+ posts to actualy get a usefull answer out of someone other then a sarcastic y dont u open your eyes and visit the site. Also maybe he was just trying to see if some one else had an email fair enoigh the person the surgested the site didnt but it is possible some one does which i think is why he tryed to carry on. If he wanted to go to the site and complain that way im sure he would have done that without coming here and asking about emails.

When did he ask about the correct complaints procedure for nokia?
