i have been going through this thread and once was a active helper too initially, only to realise THIS GUY IS A CHRONIC SPOON FEEDER. heartbreakdoctor you need to learn that this a forum where discussion not TUTIONS takes place. WE all have learned the hard way i.e. googling and wiking around or even trial and error.. you just dont waltz in for every doubt you have. I am not trying to discourage you to raise queries, all i mean is thats learning is an exciting process and hence make the best use of it rather than relying on others to guide you all the way !

Real Player is a proprietary piece of software, trying to give you unwanted advertisements, making you to register with them (I can't remember how many times I have registered with them because each time I have forgotten previous registration), etc. I don't use it. I will uninstall it from my PC as soon as it gives me an excuse to do so.
It's a badware.

i have installed a player called instinctive n i cant uninstall it cuz cant find it so how can i delete it?n mob is responding sowly n ram usage n everythn is fine any ideas?

for mr tusharmax thx ofr ur reply,why would u want to make ppl learn hard way when any beginner can come here n learn from wat am facing n from ppl reply who r actually not only helping me but also helping everyone n best way to learn is by asking and trial n am doing both

Open 'App Manager' click 'Uninstall' then find and remove it.

For future reference, any software you install through the repositories or the OVI store will always show up in 'App Manager'.

You will find your learning experience is greatly enhanced by taking the time to do a bit of research first. Use this site, take time to browse through it. Use Google. A good tip is to add "site:talk.maemo.org" to your search to restrict it to this forum. Browse the wiki (http://wiki.maemo.org).

What you're asking the nice people here to do is 'spoon feed' you information - like we feed babies one bit of food at a time. Your questions about the application manager are even answered in the User Guide - have you read it? http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/g...N900_UG_en.pdf (I found that using Google "n900 user guide").

Hope you don't take this as a personal attack, but you do really need to go and do a bit of casual browsing and reading...

App Manager->Uninstall->instinctiv
With blue square nearby it as icon.
Packages are mostly listed by alphabet.

i dont knw wat happend wrong maybe somthen went wrong while installing bs had problem will openin program n while uninstalling it bs i fixed it i deleted whole applications thx guys
