Re: Which Linux to use on Windows 7 64-bit as dual boot?
Ubuntu 11.10 is driving me crazy. I was happy with my classic desktop, They changed that and dropped support for it. As a result I installed and switched to KDE. Now when I start a virtual screen and a KDE session specifically for my N900 the result is not what I expected.
On N900 terminal Code:
ssh user@linuxbox 'vncserver -geometry 800x480' Code:
nohup startkde & Two problems arise. 1) the KDE panel at the bottom is graphically corrupted. 2) Killing the xterm from which the command "nohup startkde" was issued still kills the session. Why? what am I doing wrong, have I missed something? |
