Anyone observing this too?

Yes. Google Spreadsheets do the same for me: big black void where the data is supposed to be.

This might be interesting to look at, but the "Documentation" section is not there... or I am missing something?

Wow, and whew is all I can say right now and I really can't believe I'm saying this but I've gotten the default (Opera) browser back, as with some others I also did not have the menu option to change browser engines. So I did the next best thing and went back to the installed apps and just un-installed every application associated with the mozilla/microb browser. The sad thing is I so really (4x) wanted a better browsing experience on the IT, but geesh I mean I've used beta software before but wow. Scrolling was completely unusable with either the D-pad or finger as the OSK keyboard was constantly flashing up and down uncontrollably, and going page to page, link to link pages would load and look differently. So for me until the beta gets some things straightened out I'll take a pass for now, but I do like to see and hear of the continuing progress on the platform.

So who is going to port Adblock first? And when you do take the glory of being the first, please post how ya did it, or the code.

Gotta watch out for that finger keyboard bug ;)

I for one welcome the fact that Nokia is releasing early beta and pre alpha (rtcomm communications) software. That enables users like me who were using even less stable apps to really squeeze the most out of the IT.
It seems that lots of users were complaining about silence and lack of developments on the platform, now that there is dialogue and lots of releases (buggy as they may be) people are still complaining!!
Makes me remember why I stopped working in a software development house, as difficult as it may be it is pretty much a thankless job.

I'll take the bugs with the alpha/beta software - certainly beats silence! Hooray to the developers. I thank you.

Is anyone else have a download issue with the new Mozilla browser? When I try to install, it 'hangs', resets and then fails...perhaps too many people downloading? I have the new firmware...maybe I just need to wait a little while and try again?

That way you don't have to uninstall it if you need Opera.

I can't find the .browser file.
HELP!!
Thanks

I did do a restore from backup, so I agree, that could be the glitch. Right now I don't see any need to ever go back though. The Mozilla browser has, for me, completely trumped the Opera one. The only thing I could do in Opera that I can't seem to do right now is get Orb to stream internet video from anywhere but Daily Motion. But I don't watch a lot of internet video anyhow, and being able to use GoogleDocs is so much more satisfying.

I kind of worry that, since that switch engine option is missing, there are more subtle features I'm missing as well. Anyone have a thought on that?

Files that begin with a . are automatically hidden in Linux. If you want to edit it, use vi /home/user/.browser.
