You still don't show me logs after installing qtquickcompat so I can be wrong.
I did a litle research and it looks like QSettings doesn't return default value in PR1.3 ancient libqt4. The simplest way to solve it is to install CSSU stable.

Go to openrepos.net, set maemo platform, find elros34 and qmllockscreen. I works for me no need to use web archive.

But that's just a thumb version. I have a non-thumb device.
But my problem solved, because I've had a backup which contained that version, and restored it.
