Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators

you can convert any .img o .bin to eboot to expend less bytes of memory and they work great with psxrearmed! Ofcourse some games wont work in any format but most of them yes

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators

So I tried the latest version of PCSX ReARMed on Android and it's really good. Android now has 3 fully functional psx emulators and they're all surprisingly good. It's a shame the Maemo version isn't getting any updates anymore. Please, Sakya! :(

Here you go!

Pcsxrearmed Downloads:
Binary: pcsxrearmed_0.4.0.14.13_bin.zip
Deb package: pcsxrearmed_0.4.0.14.13_armel.deb
Source code: pcsxrearmed_0.4.0.14.13.tar.gz

Psx4m-gui downloads:
Deb package: psx4m-gui_0.4-6.14.12_armel.deb
Source code: psx4m-gui_0.4-6.14.12.tar.gz

The pcsxrearmed deb package is not optified (I don't have maemo-optify on my windows installation of the toolchain, but opening with 7zip it seems optified...), so you can download the binary zip and overwrite the old files with the new ones (remember to make pcsx executable in this case).

The main difference is the "enhance graphic" option in pcsxrearmed.
The gui ha been updated to use this new option.
Activating the option 3d graphic is rendered better (but a little slower).
Here are two screenshots with the option enabled and disabled:

Option enabled:

Option disabled:

I didn't test the package and the emulator (I just launched two games to see if it starts).

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators

Sorry, it seems I made a mistake.
Options are not correctly applied, I'll fix this asap and repost the package. ;)

EDIT: and the enhance option DOES something:

Option enabled:

Option disabled:

...rebuilding the package now. ;)

EDIT: Ok, packages updated. I didn't change the version, just reinstall it.
I also updated the gui to add the new option and remove the options not supported anymore.

EDIT: Is it just me or it crash when a FMV is played?
I'll try to fix this tomorrow, but I must admin I don't have a lot of time...
