Re: [Announce] apkenv (N900, N950, N9)

I have installed default games Angry Birds free with Magic, GOF2, RealGolf, Nfs Shift and all works fine.

Then installing apkenv-qml v0.2.1 and apkenv v42.3.15
Then found and succeded in installing apps using apkenv-qml:
Fruit, Alex, amazing Alex and Ctrope
but only Fruit is working fine.
The rest only starts up but then shut down imidiately?

What to do?

Re: [Announce] apkenv (N900, N950, N9)

I have noticed that in /home/user/ there are tons of apkenv files being made. Their names are stuff like:
.apkenv-TpQzHm
.apkenv-uEZyFD
.apkenv-UgNkCn
etc.

I think there are at least 20+ and the sizes range from 4.06Kb to 8.14 or 8.11 Mb. Is this normal and are they safe to remove? Is this actually save data? The only game I use with apkenv is Super Hexagon.

I read through as many pages of this thread as I could, but didn't seem to find any help with this issue. Maybe I also wasn't searching for the right topics.

You can remove those. They contain trash generated by apkenv. Latest version (by myname24) seem not produce them at all though.

You need to tell more information regarding your setup so others could help you out:
1. N9 or N900?
2. If N9, did you install using qtweak or deb posted in this thread?
3. What games have you tried and which versions?
4. Screenshots?

I don't know whether qtweak has the latest deb and how it differs from just installing using the deb. If you still want to use qtweak method instead of the deb posted here then sorry I can't help.Otherwise if you can tolerate terminal usage then:
1. uninstall apkenv
2. remove .apkenv from /home/user/ , you might need rood access.
- cd /home/user/
- rm -rf .apkenv
you will loose all game saves if you have any
3. install the deb from this post: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1071
4. open terminal
- apkenv /path/to/your/apk/game.apk
ie. apkenv MyDocs/Downloads/wogoo.apk
5. if works, run apkenv --install /path/to/your/apk/game.apk
if not, take screenshot and post here.

btw, I can't see your attached images.
