Yes, "ratkoo ... toimitusongelmia" translates to "solves ... delivery problems".

I have 2 questions:
Did he make a tattoo of Asmo logo?
What would be next company he would be CEO after he would leave Asmo as they would fail to deliver?

I think however these people (the sellers on Taobao) are flashing Android onto these devices is the culprit, nothing to do with Jolla. Once this bootloader issue is overcome, I'm quite sure folks will put Sailfish on it.

Do you plan to crack BIOS on it or what? AFAIK UEFI BIOS it is not a simple task to crack...

I've no clue. I've unfortunately listened to the naysayers and have stayed my hand in purchasing the tablet from China.

Well. After viewing that blog post I'm glad I didn't buy a Jolla tablet from Taobao. I would feel scammed big time if I received an Ango tablet with a Jolla Tablet shell and wasn't able to install SailfishOS.

Do you Feel more scamed IF you recevied an Ango than no tablet from jolla?

The scam continiues...I doubt jolla actually got 600 tablets to ship.

With buying stuff from China it seems like communication is key, if you can make it clear that you want a Jolla Tablet with Sailfish OS then they will probably be honest with you.

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

Interesting.

Does having access to those firmware files/tools potentially ease the possibility of porting SFOS on a 3rd party non-jolla tablet?

Or could these files/tools be used to load the missing non-open android/exchange support to community ports like the Nexus 5?

No. You'd be better off using HADK; https://sailfishos.org/develop/hadk/

The Android support is for X86 chips only.

Two I know of so far. Asking for the right thing and being very specific seems to be very key.

No one at TMO got it?

I think its better to wait for next sailfish tablet. Unless you are a collector.

This China jPad is just another gamble in the Jolla lottery.

I hate to sound harsh, however I've noticed that TMO tends to talk a lot but rarely spend a lot. Whenever they (we) do spend, they (we) anticipate that device to have a longer than normal consumer product lifespans. Yes, I include myself into this...

So no. I'm willing to bet that nobody, myself included at the moment, bought one of those Taobao tablets. Reading around, I'd say that caution was perhaps the best route.

Way more doers than collectors here. Why don't you buy one Dave?

I dont ecpect longer life but I do ecpect it to be larger than life. I would but I'm back in full Jolla boycott until money coming our way.

It's not about money...it's about delivery what you say.

Don't trust Jolla. Don't trust China gray market Jolla. Simply don't want it.

But I do hope that all that wants a tablet get it either via Jolla or fake Jolla in China.
