i did it.
it is really a great work.

i can play 720p video.
one question - how to play .mkv smoothly ?
i am using kp51 help me to edit dsp and overclock setting.
and how to change audio track in mkv (that contains two tracks of different languages).

.mkv video freezes in media player and vlc.

There is no garantee that every video plays fine.
There are .mkv profiles that are too heavy for the N900, but you might try to tweak the upper frequency too 900kHz or even 1MHz, but even this will sometimes be not successful.

I, for one, am very grateful for these items. Thank you. They allow files typical, of the one below, to play pretty well. I rarely OC but I am running KP51 with SR enabled.

Combined: MP4, 800kbps, Base, isom codec,
Video: AVC, 700 kbps, Main@L3, avc1 codec, 640x360, 25fps.
Audio: AAC, 100 kbps, HE-AAC/LC, 40 codec, 2 channel 48kHz.

Ocassionally the video frames get culled to keep up with the audio but, unlike in the old days, with MPlayer, the audio and video run at the same speed!
- having said that, MPlayer playback seems to have improved as well, following the DSP and KP improvements. Well done and Thank you.

hi I just installed, but still the camera ain't working properly which immediately closed application and i can't even play videos from default N900 media player although videos thumbnail displayed in the list media player.

So eventually I had restored all the changes back to default

The package omap3-dsp-hd-codecs needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
