Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
Just installed mYTube. Great little program and runs well. I have read all the pages but cannot confirm if the latest version have fixed the one minor issue I have. The program saves the videos to a default folder in the internal disk. Even when I changed the storage location to the extrnal disk under the "Preference" tab, the files are still saved to the internal disk. Anyone has the same problem?

Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
hi,
i tried to install myTube with OS2007HE. But i don't get some dependencies (python-gdata, etc.) resolved. I was surprised because python-gdata should be in maemo extras, but it didn't work. Does someone have a tip? rachid |

Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
Finally got around to installing it correctly the other day. The "install" link on the website made it super easy compared to when I was trying before!
I will post this request to the link you provided above, but, would be great to see some kind of "more videos by this user" button or something... |

Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
Hi Iancumihai
Does saving video to mmc2 work? or just me having the problem? |
Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
it does work .
can you do this? "cat /home/user/.mytuberc" also, did you try setting the path where to save from the application menu? |
Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
If I edit the .mytuberc by hand it and change to director to store into, seems to work. Choosing the storage from the preferences menu doesn't seem to work.

Re: Youtube browser - mYTube - released
Correction to my previous post. I am trying to store the video files to mmc1 since it has larger storage capacity.
"cat /home/user/.mytuberc" tells me the storage location is mmc2 which is the default storage location. Changing the storage location in the application menu does not work. Since I am new to Linux, not sure how to edit .mytuberc and I don't see the file in PyGTKEditor. I'll will edit the file if someone is kind enough to show me the steps otherwise I'll live with this small bug until the next program update. Thanks for the great program. It has saved me from going to the Youtube web site and the video is better. |
