Nope, just ClearType, which makes things look worse. ;)

There is a problem with text case in maemo.org. If you just try to fix the case of your name (mine was all lower case) it won't change. This is probably because there is a check that says, "Has the user changed this field? If no, don't update the database." The problem with the check is that it doesn't check for case changes.

I fixed my "muggle name" being all lower case with this workaround:
1. Edit your profile.
2. Add a single character to the end of any field you wish to change. For example, change "firstname" to "firstnamex".
3. Save your profile.
4. Edit your profile again.
4. Change the fields to the values you actually want. For example, change "firstnamex" to "Firstname".
5. Save your profile.

And there you go.

Thanks qole, but I may not have been crystal clear with my question. My maemo.org username is eipi, whereas my t.m.o username is EIPI. I was wondering which would be used on the badge. At the time I joined maemo.org, 2 years ago, it did not allow caps in my username. Your workaround is for first and last names, but not username. Sorry for the confusion.

eipi ;)

Sorry, you're right, I didn't know that you aren't allowed to edit your username on maemo.org (even though you can edit your first and last names). That's another bug, and I have no workaround for that. :(

Low tech workarounds are still possible (me being also a split personality with different t.m.o. and m.o. usernames).

Thanks attila77 ! That actually made me laugh. I'm fine with lowercase, no case, blank badge, no badge, etc - I am just ecstatic to be going!
