Its not because of the phone. It is the data transfer technology. With Gprs and Edge you cannot have simultaneous data and voice connections. But with 3G you can have both simultaneously.

yes sachin.. i guess most of us here know that..lemme explain d bug more clearly..usually when u r on gprs n a call comes in btw the gprs connection is temporarily suspended (u see a red line across the gprs icon) so that u can recieve the call..but as per d bug this is not happening on some handsets..that is, when someone calls ur n900 u dont get d call n d user gets a busy tone..

Yes people , since edge is active all the time ... therefore calls r getting missed because of active connection but thats operator dependent bug not a handset dependent bug....

i too need some good dataplans in delhi and am waiting for number interoperatability..i dont why is it in India that everything that begins never gets executed even for an year after deadline (eg 3G n no inter-op) :(
